The recent launch of the iOS 7 system a days ago made such a huge splash in the digital world. And why wouldn’t it? Almost everybody carry a smartphone in their pockets these days because of the additional function of softwares and applications which they can download in a heartbeat. After having browsed through hundreds of applications, I have come up with a list of applications that certainly comes in handy for those women who have active lifestyles. Take a look and take your pick at the lot of them:
Calorie Counter and Diet Tracker by MyFitnessPal has the largest food database of over 2 million, so you can keep track of the calories you have consumed, including fast food!
The Period Tracker is another app to get if you’re the type of person who forgets when her period is due. Don’t you just hate it when it’s that time of the month and you are caught off-guard by it and in a situation where a tampon or an Advil is not readily accessible? With this app, you’ll never catch yourself flat-footed again!
The iYoga+ is perfect for beginner yoga practitioners. It contains 58 positions equipped with an instructional how-to guide available in text and in audio. The only downside to this is there are only 8 lessons, good for 30 minutes each. So when you have exhausted all of the lessons, you can look for a paid app for a more advanced yoga lesson.
Evernote is a handy little application that allows you to take notes, make lists, stores images, audio files and web clips all in one place. This app also synchronizes what you’ve put together into all your other devices such as your desktop, laptop, and tablet.
Bad Date Rescue is an app created by dating site eHarmony. If your friends have set you up with someone that you will most definitely not go for, then this is the app to use. This app allows you to get out of a bad date. By one click, you can schedule an incoming “fake” emergency call to your iPhone. The call would actually appear like a real one and there is an actual voice at the end of the line. You get to choose from 3 fake scenarios: a call from your mom with the news that your sister is about to deliver a baby; a call from your concerned neighbour that there is a leaking pipe in your apartment; and a call from your boss demanding you to head straight to the office now! This is a nifty app to have, if I may say so!
Why don’t you try one of these apps soon?
