A Female Mallard 🦆 duck decided to nest in the middle of our parking, lot planter between two trees. We have blocked six parking spaces to allow her privacy. Within two to three weeks we expect multiple ducklings 🐥.

Wild Arc has been called. Their suggestion ” let nature take its course” 🙏

         Sunday hike up Bear Hill ~ beautiful 

          Bear Hill : approximately 30 min to summit. The park covers estimated – 49 hectares. Views of Saanich Peninsula, haro Strait, Salt Spring Island, James Island, Mount Baker, San Juan Islands and the park backs onto Elk & Beaver Lake trails. You will see wildflowers, western red cedar, Douglas fir, Garry oak & Arbutus, Turkey Vultures, Bald Eagles, Ravens …

A scenic hour and a half drive to the west of Calgary leads one to the most popular national park in the world. Banff National Park is one of Canada’s oldest national park, and was established as a national park in 1887, and occupies 2,564 square miles along the east side of the Rocky Mountains. The park is composed of mountainous terrain, complete with glaciers, alpine meadows, emerald lakes and a dense coniferous forest. Everywhere you look is like looking at a picture-perfect postcard.
